Welcome to my newly renamed site. The SkiPaintings chapter has closed and a new chapter has opened with TRAXXS. Now there's a new level of technology introduced and a new form of integration with electronic media.
Art&Media reflects what's happening now. I started out four years ago with a site to show mountain artwork, the "SkiPaintings". With the development of the high concept project, TRAXXS, the artistic boundaries of the discussion have shifted. TRAXXS weaves together new and old techniques and fuses them with athletic performance and artistic interpretation to create new visual experiences for you.

TRAXXS expands the size of the canvas to the two amazing mountains of Whistler Blackcomb in Whistler, Canada. We're working in partnership with the amazing mountain biking festival, Kokanee Crankworx, where people do things on two wheels, one wheel and in the air that you can't quite believe is possible. The skill, grace and courage these men and women personify - all wrapped up in a cut loose climate - is truly a sight to behold. And, the municipality of Whistler has been designated "2009 Cultural Capital of Canada" as they prepare for the 2010 Winter Olympics. TRAXXS is the featured project of Whistler's Arts, Culture and Heritage Program.
Monte Gast is my co-Producer (and a proud Canadian) and we're looking forward to premiering TRAXXS on August 12, 2009 at WhisterBlackcomb in Skiers Plaza during Kokanee Crankworx.
