The Pearl is a ‘virtual vehicle’ that provides full 3D orientation in the real-world when navigating and interacting with virtual environments. It’s as general as a movie theater in that any content can be shown. It's active or passive and can be built for a single occupant or for groups of up to 17. Pearls are networkable, can be ganged and designed for digital media. Full mobility is provided on all three rotation axes, viewing plane is 270 degrees by 110. Patent Number 6,017,276.
